I help smart students turn their natural talent into top-percentile ACT scores that unlock prestigious admissions and lucrative scholarships.
You don’t have to study much to get A’s.
Test-taking comes easily to you.
You may be in your school’s gifted and talented program.
I help smart students turn their natural talent into top-percentile ACT scores that unlock prestigious admissions and lucrative scholarships.
That’s great. But it’s not the best you can do. As a high-achieving student, you have the potential not just to get a good score, but a great one. A top-percentile one.
It takes more than talent to get to those far reaches of the bell curve. Scoring in the high 30s also takes mastering the content and style of the ACT—which can take hundreds of hours of trial and error without an expert to guide you through it.
"I did fairly well in high school without ever having to study, but when it came time to take the ACT, I was completely stumped on how to improve my score.
Looking back, I know I could have improved it more if I had used a more strategic way of studying."
- Claire
I’ve been in your shoes. When I got a 31 on my first test sitting, it was because my natural test-taking skills got me there.
I could have been satisfied with that score. It would have gotten me into a lot of good schools. But I sensed that I had the potential to score higher. Much higher.
So I stopped coasting and got to work. Over the course of a year, I spent hundreds of hours meticulously analyzing the ACT’s testing style. I practiced and drilled until my mistakes became my strengths. Four test sittings later, I finally got my 36.
With that 36, I gained admission to my dream school—and a full-tuition scholarship.
I speak from experience when I say that most ACT prep programs aren’t built for you. They’re generalized curricula that cater to the average high school student. They start from scratch and explain the content from the ground up.
Going over all the basics isn’t going to help you. You need a program that skips straight to the end—the advanced, high-intensity practice that makes the difference between good scores and elite ones.
That’s why I started the Elite Score Academy. I created a program, drawing upon my years of experience with one-on-one tutoring to create a stimulating group environment where high-achieving students can learn both from me and from each other.
I’m making a special offer for the first 6 students to join the inaugural cohort. Click below to find out more.

“Finding an ACT tutor is not only tough but also extremely important… William is an amazing tutor, not only extremely knowledgeable but also personable as well. He has especially helped me in the science section, helping me see the whole test in a new light. I would for sure recommend William as a tutor to anybody who is getting ready for the ACT.”
- Henry, student
“Will helped me understand certain concepts I didn’t know and also taught me ACT strategies. I found the strategies to be very helpful during my test. I would strongly recommend Will as an ACT tutor to someone looking for help.”
- James, student
